Default Program History

On any program I have pinned to the taskbar I can right-click on the icon
and a history pops up. Is there any way to delete that history?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Right click on the item in the jumplist and select remove from list.

Thanks for that. I would have assumed that 'remove from list" would
remove the item from the list rather than deleting its history as the
OP asked. I'll have to remember that when I migrate to 7.

That works for individual files but they are also still in memory. Plus I'd
like to do a cleanup once in a while the same as I do with browser history,
cache and etc.
Thanks,
Dave

Right-click the Start orb > Properties > Start menu tab
Clear the 'Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu
and the taskbar' box.

CrapCleaner will clean up Explorer's recent history as part of its cleanup routine.
It saves having to do it all yourself.
