I have been using Thunderbird now for 4 months on my win 7 and it works flawlessly you just have to download add-ons so it is somewhat like OE what is real nice you can pick and choose what add-ons you want it fines your email info automatically just like outlook 2007 in office or you can type it in yourself.

Go with Thunderbird it plays well with Win 7

Interesting. I wonder why they did that......I would have thought that
99.99% of Evolution installs are on Linux....

I can only guess that they're trying to build Outlook and Outlook,
although it doesn't have a newsreader, can open OE or Windows Mail to
read news so Evolution would need a similar function to compete?

Just guessing, I can't play with it since it refuses to function on my
computer.
