Email Notification

In Safety Options, under the Options tab, I selected the option to
"Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail instead of moving it to the Junk
E-mail folder". When I get Junk email I still get the sound and yellow
envelope on the email icon in the notification area just like for any email
received even though it has been deleted, and even worse the yellow envelope
stays in the system tray until a get an actually email that I can access. Is
this a bug?

If email notification is based on delivery to the Inbox prior to Junk Mail filter, then it would seem no..Mail arrived and
notification was processed.

If you expect the software to disable the arrival of mail notification when moved to another folder(including Junk) report it.

That may be true but there is still the issue that the notification can not
be cleared. I'll send it into feedback. Thanks.

In Wave 4 (WLM beta build 15)...the new email icon in the notifcation area disappears automatically(seems like about 30 sec)
without doing anything to the contents of a Junk Mail folder(currently at 16 junk messages spread out across 6 accounts being
tested(Pop3 and DeltaSync)
