    What if it isn't?
I now have a new laptop and want to import the entire content of my .PST
file form my old laptop into WLM.
I can;t find a way of doing that either....

You replied to a very old post. The current WLMail cannot import from a pst
    file.
The messages have to be imported into Outlook Express or Windows Mail.
Move the OE or WM message store to the new laptop and select the message
store when doing a File, Import, Messages.

That option(import Outlook)ceased to exist for all three released 2009 versions of WLM(Windows Live Mail)

If you have Windows 7, and don't have access to the prior pc to export your pst file to OE or Windows Mail, it can not be done.

Import e-mail messages from other e-mail programs
You can import e-mail messages from other e-mail programs on your computer
such as Microsoft Outlook Express so that you can view them from within Mail.
    Start Mail.

    Show me how

In Windows XP, click Start, and then click Programs.

    –or–

In Windows Vista, click Start, and then click All Programs.

Click Windows Live, and then click Windows Live Mail.

If you can't see the menu bar, in the upper-right corner of the screen,
click the Menus button , and then click Show menu bar.
On the menu bar, click the File menu, and then point to Import.
    Click Messages.
Select the e-mail program from which you want to import e-mail messages, and
    then click Next.
    Follow the on-screen instructions.

The imported messages appear in the folder pane (The left pane in the
Windows Live Mail window, which contains the folder structure for all the
e-mail accounts, newsgroup accounts, or RSS feeds that you've added. The
folder pane also shows your Outbox and any offline storage folders on your
computer's hard disk.) , under Storage folders.

    Note
If you're unsure which e-mail program and version you want to import
messages from, see the e-mail program's Help documentation.

Microsoft Windows Exchange Server or Microsoft Windows Mail - I don't have an
    option with Outlook.

I have exported messages to the folder but they are .eml

I don't know what to do next :/
I think I should convert eml to pst, but I cannot find the software to do
it... can you help me with that pls?

    Monika,
    Choose Microsoft Exchange
    - it applies to Exchange **and** Outlook

Note: Outlook has to be installed on the same machine. The export needs to find the Outlook Profile and its pst file to complete
the process(export messages from WLM and place them in OL's Pst file). Ensure Outlook is closed when performing the WLM Export.

I have .pst files. When the import is directed to the folder where I keep
them, it responds that it cannot find them. I use Window Live mail in Win 7

You can't import Outlook .pst files into Live Mail. You could import them
    to
Windows Mail or Outlook Express on another machine then copy those files
to your Win 7 machine and import them.
