Re: Runtime Error R6025
Open Add/Remove Programs & make sure the SHOW UPDATES option at the top is
checked.
Now scroll down and tell me if any of the following are listed:
- Security Update for Windows XP (KB979559)
- Security Update for Windows XP (KB979683)
- Security Update for Windows XP (KB977165)

Re: Runtime Error R6025
FYI, KB979559 superseded KB979683 which superseded KB977165.
Long story, short version: If KB977165 never installed, chances are you had
a W32/Alureon rootkit infection back in February 2010 and that the infection
was detected & removed by the Malicious Software Removal Tool when it ran
while you were installing the April 2010 updates (which included KB979683).
