I recently upgraded from Vista to W7 and IE 8 has become corrupted.
I've searched all over and cannot find any way to repair, uninstall IE 8 or download to reinstall. This seems like a silly situation for MS to create. I'm stuck and had to create this post on Firefox. |

Why are you assuming it's corrupt?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? What anti-virus application or security suite was installed prior to the upgrade and was your subscription current? Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 www.banthecheck.com Paule wrote: > I recently upgraded from Vista to W7 and IE 8 has become corrupted. > > I've searched all over and cannot find any way to repair, uninstall IE 8 > or > download to reinstall. > > This seems like a silly situation for MS to create.
