    Default Navy websites & IE8

Every single Navy secure website I go to, I get a "Certificate Error." I find
it difficult to believe that every site has bad certificates. The primary one
I use, "https://wwwa.nko.navy.mil" has never come up without that error. I
makes it even more difficult because every single page in the site does the
    same error. HELP!

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista x64 SP2) when
    posting to this newsgroup.

Is the computer fully-patched at Windows Update and is the most recent (22
Sept-09) Root Certificates update installed? cf.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931125

Are your Vista computer's time, date, and time zone settings correct?

    [pause]

Nevermind: I get the "problem with this website's security certificate"
here, too, when I open IE to https://wwwa.nko.navy.mil so the problem's not
    on your end.

I updated the Root Certificates, and downloaded the security certificate from
https://wwwa.nko.navy.mil, and the page comes up, but the address bar still
shows red with a certificate error, saying it's an untrusted certificate. So,
one step in the right direction. Is there a way to get the untrusted
certificate to be trusted by IE8?

Sorry, no: Only the Admins at navy.mil can address this.
