Windows not recognizing iPhone

I've been reading through other posts and have tried everything I've seen and nothing has worked. So this is the problem I'm experiencing:

When I plug my phone into my computer absolutely nothing happens. Nothing shows up in my computer, nothing shows up in my devices, no drivers try to install and fail. I know that the USB ports work, that my cable isn't bad, and that the connection on my phone isn't bad because they all have worked on a different machine. I have uninstalled all apple applications and reinstalled, made sure that my computer was updated. Started and stopped the Apple Mobile Devices services. I would really prefer not having to reinstall windows to get this fixed.
