Default The Windows 7 Display error - a possible answer

For a full week I've changed video cards and drivers after going to Windows 7 Pro from XP Pro. I had also went up to 8 gigs of ram adding 2 PNY sticks to my original 2 Kingston sticks (both DDR2). Tonight I went back to my original 4 gigs of the same ram and finally do not show either the display error or have the on again off again dead mouse due to hung up memory. I'm going to try adding 4 more gigs of the exact same memory to bring it back up to 8 again BUT that was my solution. I noticed many people with the same problem so I thought I should post it.
